10 WEEK PROGRAMME

IS THIS FOR ME?

You want to practice Intuitive Eating but it feels unreachable right now.

You have a history of disordered eating or eating disorders but are on the recovery road.

You still have a hangover of disordered eating symptoms such as: -

  • You are being too restrictive with eating and want to become more relaxed around food.
  • You are caught in a cycle of binge eating and dieting and want to escape the cycle.
  • Your BMI (sorry but I’m using this to ensure I can take on clients safely and manage risk) is 17.5 or above. All body sizes welcome above this.
  • You are over-exercising.
  • You might purge through self-induced vomiting (less than 6x per week).
  • You have poor body image.
  • You regularly turn to food to regulate your emotions.
  • You are committed to change and want to have a healthier relationship with food.

HOW CAN i HELP you?

My approach comes from extensive work with clients (since 2003), in supporting them to overcome disordered eating, both in the NHS and privately.

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and bring my expertise in psychology in helping you change your relationship with food.

The programme gives a step by step approach.

You will learn:

1) Why you are struggling with disordered eating.
2) Get motivated for change and understand your deepest values.
3) Work to establish a regular eating pattern and to permit yourself to eat ALL foods.
4) Root out destructive behaviours that are keeping disordered eating going.
5) Work on your thinking and develop a powerful recovery mindset.
6 ) Learn to manage your emotions effectively.
7) Improve body image.
8 ) Manage relapse and stay on track for the future.

The approach is underpinned by the 10 Principles of Intuitive Eating. 

It considers that your history with food is disordered and works on a deeper level to help you take the steps to begin practicing the principles.
